I started Cleary Vacuum, with my father, Paul “Bud” Cleary, in 1973. We started in a small, humble house on Madison Avenue, in Indianapolis, by 1978 we purchased and moved to the corner of Troy Ave. and Meridian street. I left Cleary Vacuum in 1990 and Started Mark’s Vacuum & Janitorial Supplies with my wife, of now 32 years, Marcia. We have seen a great many changes, over the years, and now I am the only original, Cleary son, still in the retail business.
